What you can track
Poop, pee, meals and walks take one tap, saved with the current time. When the details matter, there are nine detailed forms, each with its own fields:
- Poop, pee, meal and walk
- Symptom, mood and behavior
- Grooming and weight
Any of them can carry notes and a private photo. Medication doses and vaccinations live in health records, and every record lands on one Timeline you can filter by dog, type and date.
See what you recorded
Insights counts each type of record per week and charts walk minutes and weight over 7 or 30 days, with 90 days on Premium. The numbers come straight from your logs. Nothing is estimated, and no AI is involved.
Bring it to your vet
The vet report reads summary first: the short version of the period, what was out of the ordinary, what looked steady, and then the full care log. Out of the ordinary can include symptom notes, softer poop, a weight change of 5% or more, or fewer meals or walks logged than usual for your dog. Reading it on your phone is free. PDF and CSV exports come with Premium.
Private by default
The journal opens without an account and is saved on your phone. Nothing syncs to a cloud, and photos are never uploaded. There is no backup either, so a Premium export is how you keep a copy. Read the Privacy Policy.
What it won't do
BarkLog is a record, not a vet. It never tells you what an observation means or asks you to wait instead of calling. Your saved vet and emergency numbers stay free and work offline.

Is BarkLog free?
Your first dog is free, always. That includes one-tap and detailed logs, the Timeline, health records, four weeks of insights, the care calendar, emergency contacts and a vet report to read on your phone. Premium adds more dogs, BarkLog AI, PDF and CSV exports and longer trends.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Logging never needs a network, an account or AI. The journal is saved on your phone.
Can BarkLog tell me what is wrong with my dog?
No. BarkLog organises what you notice and prepares it for a vet. It never diagnoses, prescribes or gives doses. If your dog seems unwell, contact a vet.
